Here is a model that truly lives up to its name. With "Beau Soleil" (Beautiful Sun), the Digoin Sarreguemines earthenware factory created luminous, generous tableware, where the design seems to have retained something of sunny days. These four deep plates feature a very attractive polychrome floral design. Blue, yellow, and burgundy flowers mingle with vibrant green foliage, in a dynamic composition that adorns the rim without encroaching on the center. The radiating relief of the earthenware delicately catches the light and gives the set its unique presence. The well is accentuated by a fine blue circle that structures the design and adds an elegant graphic touch. Made by the Digoin Sarreguemines Earthenware Factory in the first half of the 20th century, circa , they bear the manufacturer's mark on the reverse. With a diameter of approximately 23 cm, they are in impeccable condition, with a design that has retained all the vibrancy of its colors.
