For sale is a beautiful set of 4 original Casala dining chairs from the early 1960s. An absolute dream for lovers of Mid-Century and Scandinavian design. Manufacturer's proof: Manufactured by the renowned Casala-Werke (Carl Sasse, Lauenau). The original metal plate with the iconic sitting figure is present on the underside of the chairs. Details & Design: - Material: High-quality, warm cherry wood with an expressive, beautiful grain. - Backrest: Elegant, delicate design with 5 harmoniously curved spindles in the timeless Windsor/Scandinavian style. Condition & Upholstery: The wood is in very good, absolutely stable condition for its age, with a charming, authentic patina. The wood joints are firm and stable. The seats were re-upholstered once, presumably in the early 1970s – this fabric has now aged. Anyone who wants to fully enjoy the chairs should have them re-upholstered. A wonderful, uncomplicated basis for an individual upholstery project to your own taste!
