Lot 1 - Charming set of 4 antique/vintage Limoges porcelain dinner plates, very fine, translucent in the light, stamped B & C°, Bernardaud et Compagnie, produced between 1920 and 1950. Elegant octagonal design with a wide rim, typical Art Deco shape. Multicolored floral transfer decoration with a blue border, spring-like, warm, cheerful, and traditional. 24.7cm in diameter and 2.5cm high. Very good condition, although the decorations show some minor manufacturing flaws and wear to the transfer and rim. No chips or cracks, just a few very light and discreet utensil marks. Some plates show a slight patina, and one has a manufacturing defect: a small interior area appears to have been filed, but this is not noticeable and discreet. Approximately 250g each. Hand washing is recommended; occasional washing in the dishwasher is okay on a gentle, low-temperature program.
