Product description
This set of four chairs was designed by Ate van Apeldoorn and produced by Houtwerk Hattem in the 1960s-1970s. The design is an excellent example of Dutch Design, characterized by a minimalist and artisanal form.
The chairs are crafted from solid pine and feature black fabric upholstery. The construction displays the characteristic wood joinery for which Van Apeldoorn is known. The dimensions of the chairs are 68 cm in height, 62 cm in width, and 57 cm in depth, with a seat height of 40 cm.
The set is in excellent vintage condition. The woodwork is sturdy and stable, and the construction is solid with no loose joints. The upholstery is neat, and the chairs have retained their original character.
These characterful chairs fit perfectly into both modern and mid-century interiors. They make a stylish and functional addition to a dining area or living space.
