Very rare set of four late Art Deco dessert cups in Nudawn marble (three yellow and one red), with black Catalin bases and chrome-plated metal feet. Canadian manufacture, circa 1930s. Typical of North American tableware found in soda fountains and diners of the period, these cups were intended for ice cream, puddings, and desserts, or as cocktail glasses.
11.3 cm high, 9.5 cm maximum diameter. The set is in good used condition, with some minor signs of age and two cups with slight, discreet chips to the rim. Marked “MADE IN CANADA” on the bases. Approximately 80 grams each.
