Lot 2
Set of four charming antique ironstone dessert plates from the Longchamp earthenware factory, "Pâquerettes" polychrome model, very rare, old late 19th early 20th century circa 1890-1910. Magnificent romantic, bucolic Art Nouveau decor of daisies, foliage, grasses and scrolls in dark pink transfer, delicately hand-enhanced with shades of fuchsia pink, mauve, nuanced green, yellow and brown. The rim is slightly scalloped.
22cm in diameter and 2cm high. Very good general condition for their age, two plates show natural superficial crazing of the enamel, one with an original enamel run in the center, the set shows practically no rare traces of cutlery. Close to new condition. Approximately 250gr per piece, or 1kg for the set.
