A set of four charming antique Terre de Fer dessert plates from the Longchamp pottery, "Pâquerettes" (Daisies) pattern, polychrome, very rare, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, circa 1890-1910. Magnificent Art Nouveau romantic, bucolic decoration of daisies, foliage, grasses, and scrolls in dark pink transfer, delicately hand-embellished with shades of fuchsia pink, mauve, nuanced green, yellow, and brown. The rim is slightly scalloped.
22 cm in diameter and 2 cm high. In very good overall condition for their age. Two plates have a small original glaze drip in the center, a fine surface crack, and a light patina. One has a small, discreet chip on the rim. The set shows only very minor cutlery marks. Near mint condition. Approximately 250g each, or 1kg for the set.
