Product description
100&ONE (sold individually). An organically shaped table top with a strong top layer, supported by a forest of 101 round legs of beech, walnut and walnut wood. The seemingly fragile, thin legs (with diameters ranging from 4 to 14 mm) work together to give the top stability and strength. The table was originally designed as part of a trio, placed in a spacious setting with benches and chairs around it. Even as an independent object, the strength of the design remains convincingly present. The top is made of 24 mm birch plywood and finished with a hard HPL top layer. The edges are protected from UV radiation by two barely visible filter layers. The assembly is strong and stable, capable of supporting the weight of an adult. The tables are available in three carefully chosen colors that complement each other: Ultra White, Petrol and Storm (Resopal HPL: 6001-60, 0602-60, 10542-60). Inspiration The inspiration for this design comes from mangrove forests: an apparently fragile forest of thin trunks that, precisely in collective cohesion, radiates strength. This tension between fragility and strength forms the heart of the table. Print run Unique series of 3 pieces, numbered and branded. The tables are for sale separately. Please contact us.
