Mid-Century Modern and Space Age design: A beautiful, rare set of three ceramic candlesticks by the renowned German manufacturer Steuler Keramik. These iconic candlesticks were designed in the 1960s by the famous designer Cari Zalloni Model no. 148/10 Height: 10 cm Diameter: 8 cm They are part of the highly regarded modernist design movement from West Germany (WGP). The set consists of three candlesticks in a striking retro color combination of glossy cobalt blue and vibrant orange. One of the orange candlesticks features a beautiful, contrasting relief band around the edges. Thanks to their geometric and architectural hourglass shapes, they form a fantastic statement piece, both individually and together, in any eclectic or modern interior. In absolutely excellent vintage condition. Completely intact: no chips, no cracks, and no glaze loss. Like new.
