DESCRIPTION
Dutch designer Piet Boon designed the Volumes series for the Belgian brand Serax (series of 5 different vases: see photo).

The vases are treated with a thin waterproof coating on the inside, but this does not guarantee 100% waterproofness.
The thickness of the top rim allows flowers and branches to drape perfectly. And Volumes doesn't need many flowers: a single pair provides sufficient color for this beautiful vase.
Boon drew inspiration from the Italian artist Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964), known for his dreamy still lifes.
