For sale is a set of two unusual and very rare plates in bright red by Astrid Sampe, designed for Textilkammaren AB Åry Nybro in Sweden.
Astrid Sampe was best known for her textile design around 1950. These plates are a beautiful example of her minimalist style with clean lines and geometric shapes. They probably date from the middle of the 20th century and are in good used condition.
