Product description
The Cassina Grand Confort Petit Armchair is a classic design by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, and Pierre Jeanneret. Since 1965, the Italian company Cassina has been producing the beautiful LC series, but the design itself dates back to 1928. During this time, Le Corbusier collaborated with his cousin Pierre Jeanneret in a Parisian studio. Their greatest success came in 1927, when the couple decided to collaborate with a young architect, Charlotte Perriand. This fruitful collaboration led to many design successes, including this LC2 Armchair. At that time, the armchair represented everything new and modern in furniture and became a true design classic.
The distinctive chromed steel frame holds the full cushions filled with polyurethane foam together. No fewer than six zones within the foam ensure the perfect balance of firm and soft. A layer of feathers or polyester wadding is placed on top of the foam, keeping the cushions taut.
The armchair is 76 centimeters wide, 67 centimeters high, and 70 centimeters deep. The seat depth is 50 centimeters and the seat height is 48 centimeters.
Made of Scozia leather in Graphite (black) with polyester wadding.
