A pair of Bauhaus-style armchairs by Mücke & Melder from the 1920s-1930s. With original green upholstery in vintage condition with visible signs of age, including some stains and small holes. The chrome-plated tubular steel frame is in excellent condition and offers firm support and comfortable seating. An iconic design piece, closely related in style to the work of H.W. Gispen and Thonet, and a paragon of the modernist aesthetic of the interwar period.
