Product description
A beautiful pair of dining chairs designed by Josef Hoffmann, crafted in richly dark-stained beech. The clean, geometric lines and balanced proportions reflect Hoffmann’s signature approach. Hoffmann, a leading figure of the early 20th-century Viennese design movement, co-founded the Wiener Werkstätte and sought to unify craftsmanship with modern living. His collaboration with Thonet, renowned for pioneering bentwood furniture in the 19th century, brought together technical innovation and avant-garde aesthetics. The result is a timeless design that feels both architectural and inviting. The chairs are in good vintage condition. The manufacturers label has been lost, so I'm not sure who produced the chairs.
