Description:
Solid teak frame with spherically shaped armrests; dark reddish-brown, almost black heartwood that runs through the surface like a painted pattern; seat and backrest with wear-resistant coil spring webbing and protective cover; seat frame with additional protective felt padding;
New foam cushions with new premium fabric covers (see material properties), removable via zipper;
All seams are executed as elegant flat-felled seams according to the original pattern (in this type of seam, the individual upholstery pieces interlock like finger wrestling and are then double-stitched. This seam type is therefore considerably more robust, has significantly higher tensile strength, and is considerably more durable than the usual single/standard seams).

A particularly robust and heavy (almost 700g/m) premium upholstery fabric was chosen, featuring a very attractive, distinctive woven texture where two-tone colors further accentuate the weave. This textured upholstery fabric is easy to care for, durable, and has been additionally treated with a stain-resistant finish. It boasts a very high abrasion resistance of over 100,000 rubs, thus offering twice the durability of upholstery fabrics used in high-traffic public spaces. (Highest quality level according to Martindale) designed for (from 50,000 abrasion cycles). The lightfastness rating is greater than 5.

The photos are overexposed to show the excellent condition in detail! This makes reddish tones appear redder and colors generally lighter. The shaded areas, or those not directly illuminated by the camera light, best represent the true colors.

Condition:
This lounge chair is in such good condition that it is virtually indistinguishable from a new one (if such a thing existed). It was lovingly restored by a professional restorer using traditional and natural materials. The teak frame is "like new"; the usual scratches and blemishes are, of course, nowhere to be found. The beautiful, high-quality brass screws on the backrest are also "like new." The cushions and covers are, as described, also new! In short: Go ahead and look elsewhere; you won't find a better one anywhere!
