HK Furniture created bespoke furniture for the Queen's Royal Train and the QE2 cruise ship. HK of London designed furniture for the British Parliament and the Royal Bank of England.
This beautiful original set of vintage Howard Keith Diplomat sofas from the 1970s with original Sereno Stripe upholstery, in good condition. Complete with the accompanying cushions. The set is exceptionally available in its entirety. True collector's items!
A few of these sofas in serano stripes were used in an ABBA photo shoot. The iconic seat was featured on Elton John's private jet in Rocketman. It was famously owned by Princess Anne and Lord Edward Davenport.
The sofa starred in the living room of Lewis (Michael Caine) and Elizabeth (Glenda Jackson) in The Romantic Englishwoman. Both stars sit on this sofa (covered with the 'Eighth Star' fabric) in several key scenes.

Here and there there is some lint or some thinning of the fabric on one edge. If you look carefully you can find a small discoloration here and there. There are scratches on the legs. I describe this in more detail than necessary because these things are not noticeable even when you are sitting on them.
