Product description
Early production (late 1950s, early 1960s) of the Eames lounge chair
Made by those who later came to call themselves Vitra, the Fehlbaum family of Switzerland, under license for Herman Miller USA. Back then, the company was called Contura. Almost 70 years old Eames chair!!!
Rio Rosewood (Rio Rosewood) veneer. Not used today!
Sits nice; very soft. Padding with springs! (Nowadays they only use foam).
Super comfortable and unique to find!
Both seats still have the original leather, with a very nice even used look. Without any damages! Some very minor signs of use though, but certainly nothing special.
The coffee table is also in perfect condition!
