Iconic set of 2 DSC 106 stacking chairs, designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli in the mid-1960s. This is one of Castelli's most celebrated models—a true classic of Italian post-war design—combining a graphic architectural frame with remarkable comfort and functionality.
Each chair features the characteristic cast aluminum side frame with integrated handle, tapered steel legs, and a generously curved seat and backrest. The seats are upholstered in the original warm ochre leatherette, giving the chairs a strong mid-century feel and complementing both minimalist and more colorful interiors. The Castelli logo is visible on the metal base.
Condition
Good vintage condition with signs of wear commensurate with age. The leatherette upholstery is in very good condition; The metal frames and legs show patina, minor scratches, and wear to the finish, consistent with stacking and decades of use.
