Iconic Armchair 637 Utrecht (New, Never Used) by the great Dutch designer Gerrit Tomas Rietveld, designed in 1935. An elegant and refined armchair upholstered in soft Ortigia/Plum-coloured velvet, of exceptional quality and tactile beauty. Famous for its pure geometric shapes that embody Rietveld's minimalist and functional style. Reproduced by Cassina starting in 1988, it features a steel support frame, padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, balancing comfort and aesthetics. The delicate horse-stitching in contrasting yarn underlines the pure, angular lines of the armchair, adding a touch of understated elegance.
