This set of two dining chairs was manufactured by Furusnickarn AB, designed by Gilbert Marklund in Sweden during the 1960s and 1970s. The design is characterized by a robust, brutalist aesthetic that emphasizes the natural beauty of the material.
The chairs are constructed entirely of solid pine, with pronounced wood grain and knots prominently displayed.
