Pair of Mushroom Chairs by Pierre Paulin for Artifort.
The chairs are in excellent condition and are upholstered in the original Kvadrat Tonus cobalt blue fabric.
Pierre Paulin is perhaps best known for his innovative designs for Artifort from the 1960s. His designs are often admired for their clean lines, the sensual feel of their material or simply for the way the shapes envelop the body. Model F560 was very popular at the time and is now considered one of his best designs. The Mushroom Chair is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The chairs are in very good condition and are upholstered in the original Kvadrat Tonus blue fabric.
