This set of two vintage Gelderland armchairs combines timeless Dutch design with a comfortable seat.
The design is characterized by a flowing tubular frame and inviting, soft Alcantara upholstery, making these chairs a beloved choice for lovers of classic modernism. With Alcantara, the nap of the fabric changes depending on the direction in which it is brushed and the angle of the light. As a result, lighter and darker nuances may be visible in the photos.
These two pieces are finished in Alcantara in a warm liver/taupe color. The armrests are also covered in the same Alcantara. Combined with the glossy chrome frame, this gives the armchairs a calm and timeless appearance. The construction demonstrates the characteristic solidity and craftsmanship for which Gelderland is known.
The set is in good vintage condition, with the upholstery and frame retaining their character. The chairs are fully functional and ready for a new home.
