Two Classic Bibendem armchairs.
By Eileen Gray, 1926.
Upholstered in red leather.
The Bibendum is unique. Nowhere in the history of design will you find an armchair comparable to this one. Despite its size, it is enchantingly harmonious, combining majestic presence with charm and wit like no other leather armchair. Eileen Gray underscored the character of her endearing parior lion with sly irony; she named it after the Michelin Man, whose shape this armchair evokes.
Please note that these are replicas, just as high quality and beautiful as the originals.
The leather is in perfect condition, without discoloration or defects.
