Product description
Pair of antique Longchamp earthenware serving dishes, "Daisies" pattern, polychrome, very rare, late 19th/early 20th century, circa 1890-1910. Magnificent romantic, bucolic Art Nouveau decoration of daisies, foliage, grasses, and scrolls in dark pink transfer, delicately hand-embellished with shades of fuchsia pink, mauve, nuanced green, yellow, and brown. 24.5 cm long, 16 cm wide, and 3 cm high. Very good overall condition for their age; there are a few very minor scratches from cutlery on the bottom, and a small chip on the base of each, invisible when placed on a surface. Near mint condition. Approximately 350g each.
