Pair of “Gesto” Wall Sconces, Bruno Gecchelin for Skipper, 1970s
Unique and essential design with strong presence and versatile uses.
Bruno Gecchelin’s “Gesto” sconces for Skipper translate rationalist elegance into a visually striking fixture. Chromed tubular frame with a black enameled metal shade, conceived to provide reflected, atmospheric light. An adjustable arm with right‑to‑left movement lets you aim the beam or craft refined chiaroscuro by changing the distance from the wall. Solid build and generous proportions — a 1970s take on functional minimalism with recalls of Bauhaus style.
The lamps can be easily used both as wall sconces and ceiling lights.
Condition: serviced and refinished, in excellent working order. Light points fitted with modern, low‑consumption bulbs for immediate use. Only few signs of wear and use.
