For sale is an original vintage desk by Musterring International, crafted in the 1960s.
Musterring International is one of the most renowned German furniture manufacturers of the Mid-Century era and stands for high-quality craftsmanship and timeless design.
This desk isn't meant to be placed against a wall. It belongs in the center of your room. Not pushed into a corner, not leaned against a wall. Freestanding, it belongs to the room like a sculpture belongs in a museum. One side for working, the other as open shelving. In this way, the desk becomes a natural room divider. Organic, effortless, without compromise. On a dark carpet, the black legs seem to disappear. The desk appears to float.
The tabletop has been completely sanded and re-oiled. The teak wood now displays its warm, natural grain once again. The rest of the desk has been cleaned and the wood refreshed.
