The legendary, timeless design classic from the 1960s is not only to be found in prestigious lounge areas of exclusive office and private spaces, but has also had a discreet presence in the spacious foyer of the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe for 60 years! (since 2013 - in the reissued version), it has also had a discreet presence in the generously designed foyer of the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe. (see last photo)

**Construction:** 2-part, chrome-plated and screwed flat steel construction, belt covering with black, leather-covered seat and back cushions. These are the particularly firm and robust original SKAI leather covers from Girsberger from the 1960s! The leather cushions are removable and are fixed to the frame.
The armchairs can be used with or without armrests, depending on your wishes and taste! (Mod. 1500 / Mod. 1600)

**Manufacturer and design:** Girsberger (CH) The Swiss company was founded in 1889 as a family business in Zurich. Alongside DeSede, Strässle and Züco, it is one of the leading suppliers in the premium segment of Swiss furniture manufacturers.
A production facility was also set up in Germany (Endingen am Kaiserstuhl) for the 1500/1600 armchair model. Now represented worldwide, many classics from Girsberger impress with their clarity, perfection and independence and remain a timeless, high-quality companion for the proud owner.
Today, the design of the armchair is often attributed to the renowned Swiss interior designer Hans Eichenberger (born 1926) - the official design authorship is given by the manufacturer as "Girsberger Werksdesign" from 1961, as Wilhelm Girsberger and Ernst Lauclair, among others, were also involved in the idea, construction and development.
