Iconic Mid-Century Modern "Mushroom" Space Age desk lamp. Hand-blown on the island of Murano during the 1970s, this lamp is attributed to the visionary designer Carlo Nason for the prestigious manufacturer Mazzega (no labeled,).
The lamp is crafted from a single, seamless piece of opaline Murano glass, featuring the sophisticated "swirl" technique. Translucent and milky-white spiral stripes wrap elegantly around the organic, fungal silhouette, creating a mesmerizing visual rhythm.
When lit, the glass diffuses a soft, atmospheric glow that highlights the masterful craftsmanship of the Venetian glassblowers.
In very good condition. The hand-blown glass body is pristine, free of chips or cracks, while the base shows light, few signs of wear consistent with its age and use.
