Product description
Superb antique mirror with a finely carved wood and stucco frame, adorned with floral decorations and Louis XV-inspired motifs. Its subtly aged gilt patina reveals the relief of the ornaments and gives it a remarkable presence, both refined and authentic.
This mirror, although antique, is in good condition. It has undergone minor restoration to the gilding, and there are some signs of wear here and there on the frame, as well as a few pits on the mercury glass, which are quite normal for a 19th-century piece.
The quality of the carving and the balance of proportions make it a striking decorative piece, ideal in a grand entryway, above a console table, in an elegant living room, or placed on the floor for a gallery effect.
