This impressive 19th-century French wine press screw is a rare and characterful object, originally used as a functional wine press. Over the years, this extraordinary piece has been transformed into a decorative pedestal - perfect as a striking interior accent.
Made of solid wood and heavy in weight. The wear, cracks, missing parts and old (inactive) woodworm holes tell the story of a long life and add to the beautiful patina. These are not flaws, but rather the marks that give this antique piece so much character and charm.
