A striking example of Italian Mid-Century inspired surrealism, this "Sun" floor lamp was designed by Fornasetti and produced by Antonangeli Illuminazione in the 1990s. Part of the iconic "Follia Pratica" series, this piece exemplifies Fornasetti’s philosophy of transforming everyday household objects into "spiritual messengers" through the use of bold, neoclassical lithographic imagery.
The lamp features a slender, minimalist cylindrical form crafted from high-quality heat-resistant polypropylene. The translucent material serves as a perfect canvas for the lithographic "Sun" motif—a recurring and beloved theme in Fornasetti’s oeuvre.
