This iconic elephant sculpture is a prime example of 1970s Italian Brutalist design. Attributed to the legendary Enzo Mari and manufactured by Fratelli Mannelli in Italy, this piece reflects the era’s fascination with stylized, geometric animal forms carved from natural stone. Expertly Hand-carved from Rapolano Travertine, a porous limestone celebrated for its unique texture and warm, earthy tones. The sculpture utilizes the natural "vacuoles" (voids) of the stone to add depth and character, making every individual piece unique.
