Striking adjustable floor lamp produced in Germany during the 1970s, featuring an elegant combination of oak wood, metal and a newly handcrafted lampshade made from handmade paper.
The lamp’s distinctive architectural construction combines a tall oak column and circular wooden base with a slender metal arm supporting the shade. The height is adjustable from 137 to 157 cm (53.9 to 61.8 inches), adding both functionality and visual versatility to the design.
A newly made handcrafted paper lampshade complements the original vintage structure, softly diffusing the light and creating a warm, atmospheric illumination. The lamp is fitted with two E26/E27 bulb sockets.
With its sculptural silhouette, natural materials and refined metal detailing, this piece is an excellent example of 1970s European modernist lighting. Its understated yet distinctive presence makes it ideal for Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian Modern, contemporary and eclectic interiors.
Carefully refurbished with new electrical wiring. US compatible. Minor signs of use and age remain consistent with the lamp’s vintage character.
