A unique eye-catcher: the red glass "Tokio" pendant lamp by Wilhelm Braun-Feldweg for Peill & Putzler from 1960.
The pendant lamp and socket (E27 fitting) are still original. The electrical cord may be original and may need replacing. A small chip (see photo 4), but otherwise the glass is in excellent condition (scratched or cracked).
Dimensions:
- Maximum hanging height: 73 cm
- Lamp height: 36 cm
- Diameter: 26.5 cm
This rare red glass pendant lamp, designed by Wilhelm Braun-Feldweg for Peill & Putzler in the 1960s, is a beautiful example of Mid-Century Modern design. The lamp has an elegant, flowing shape and a deep red color that creates a warm atmosphere when lit. The glass is of high quality and radiates a subtle sheen and warm light. The interior is made of white opal glass.
It is being sold with regret due to the large number of pendant lamps. Hopefully, it will find a new owner where it can truly shine. Collection is preferred to avoid damage to the glass during shipping.
