Distinctive 1960s table lamp designed by Helena Frantová in Czechoslovakia, combining an elegant geometric construction with the experimental character of postwar Czechoslovak lighting design. The sculptural structure is formed from brass-plated metal, with a slender triangular tripod frame supporting a tapered central body. Above it sits a broad conical shade, creating a dramatic low-profile silhouette characteristic of Mid-Century Modern European lighting. The paper shade has been newly handmade, carefully complementing the proportions and period character of the lamp. When illuminated, it diffuses the light into a warm, atmospheric glow while emphasizing the lamp’s striking architectural form. The brass-plated metal has been carefully repolished while deliberately retaining its attractive natural patina, preserving the authentic vintage character and tonal variation of the surface.
