This serving trolley / trolley was designed in the 1950s by Italian architects Campo and Graffi for Artimeta Netherlands. Artimeta was a progressive company that was far ahead of its time with its philosophy of extreme minimalism. In addition to founder Floris Fiedeldij, Mathieu Mategot also made several designs for Artimeta. This serving trolley is really rare: you won't be able to find many examples on the Internet.
The metal construction of the serving trolley is not lacquered but powder-coated. This method was first used in the 1940s and was then and is still used for finishing steel. On one of the corners of the serving trolley, this powder coating has a bare spot, shown in one of the photos. The glass tops (with rounded corners) are in very good condition.
