Product description
Wooden chair produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s. The original label is no longer present, but the chair was produced by the Tatra company and follows a design influenced by Thonet models from the 1920s.
The chair has a solid oak construction, with the seat and backrest made from molded plywood. The backrest is carved, adding a refined detail while maintaining the strong and balanced character of the design.
The surface has been finished with a new varnish, carefully applied to preserve the natural patina and the historical character of the piece. The chair shows light signs of age consistent with its use and period. It is structurally sound, stable, and ready for everyday use.
