The design of this chest of drawers from the Idee Möbel program by Erich Stratmann for Oldenburger Möbelwerkstätten marks a milestone in 1950s furniture design. The body, with its new white HPL coating, forms a calm backdrop for the striking inlaid ash veneer doors, while a distinctively curved new Bauhaus-design stainless steel frame lends the piece a floating lightness. After careful restoration, the item is presented in very good vintage condition.
