Dear vintage enthusiasts,
This chair is a rare Casala chair from the 1950s. It was designed by D. Hinz and manufactured by Carl Sasse in Germany.
The entire chair has been restored to its original design and reupholstered. (See black and white photo from the book.)
The chair features comfortable wave spring padding with coconut fiber and wadding.
The round, dynamic frame makes this chair a striking statement piece.
Minor signs of wear are visible on the frame.
