This Bauhaus children’s writing desk was produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1930s. The design combines a tubular chrome-plated steel structure with walnut-veneered plywood surfaces, showcasing the functional clarity and minimalist aesthetics of early modernist furniture.
The integrated drop-leaf extension allows the working surface to expand, enhancing versatility while maintaining compact proportions. The desk has been carefully refurbished and remains in excellent structural condition.
