Dear vintage lovers,
This chair made of woven paper cord is an Erich Diekmann chair. Alongside Marcel Breuer, Erich Diekmann was a well-known furniture designer from the Bauhaus scene at the time.
The chair consists of a stained beech wood frame. The chair was manufactured in Germany from 1920 to 1930. The elaborately woven paper cord is in good condition. The wooden frame was subsequently oiled with a natural hard wax oil.
