No. 728 armchairs, also known as the cabaret bat chair, by Josef Hoffmann for Wittmann from the Art Nouveau era of the early 1900s. Characteristic is the gently curved, horseshoe-shaped frame made of bent, dark-stained beech wood. A charming color contrast is created by the light, subtly patterned upholstery on the seat and backrest. Carefully cleaned, this historic set of two is presented in good vintage condition.
