An exceptional and rare 18th-century Dutch bookcase, dating from the late 18th century, circa 1760-1780. This impressive cabinet combines elegance, craftsmanship, and functionality, making it a striking showpiece for both classic and modern interiors. The cabinet is crafted with beautifully figured veneer and is richly decorated with wood carvings, including an elegantly shaped crest, refined moldings, and impressive cabriole legs with claw feet. A beautiful example of high-quality Dutch furniture craftsmanship from that period. The upper section features three shelves, each with a railing, ideal for displaying porcelain, books, or decorative objects. The doors currently feature glass panels, which were added later. This modification was executed professionally and with an eye for detail. Originally, cabinets of this type often had panels made of mesh or solid wood. The cabinet comes with a key and is constructed in parts for easier transport and installation. The condition is good antique, with signs of use consistent with the cabinet's history.
