Product description
A particularly beautiful and rare 14-piece coffee set, designed by Hans Wagner for the Dutch company Hofra. The set features a spectacular high-gloss, fiery red glaze combined with a sleek, geometric design – an absolute eye-catcher and a prime example of Dutch design from the 1970s.
Set includes:
1 coffee pot with lid (capacity approx. 800 ml – height 19 cm, Ø 9 cm) 1 sugar bowl with lid (height 7.5 cm, Ø 8 cm) 3 espresso mugs (capacity approx. 100 ml – height 8 cm, Ø 6 cm) 3 coffee cups (capacity approx. 150 ml – height 6 cm, Ø 8 cm) 6 saucers (Ø 13 cm – height 2 cm)
Condition:
Coffee pot: small chip at the bottom of the spout, barely visible. Sugar bowl: a few chips on the inner rim of the lid, not visible when closed. Saucers: minor signs of wear, but they are offset by the beautiful glaze. The cups are signed.
A masterpiece for the collector or lover of vintage design – rarely offered in this condition and completeness.
