Beautiful vintage Model 118 lounge chair designed by Grete Jalk for France & Daverkosen, Denmark. This early production example dates from 1955 and is an outstanding example of Grete Jalk's elegant and functional approach to Danish Mid-Century Modern design.
Crafted with a beautifully sculpted solid teak frame, the chair showcases the refined organic lines and exceptional craftsmanship that have made Jalk one of Denmark's most celebrated furniture designers.
The original spring core has been professionally reupholstered in a high-quality light grey upholstery fabric, preserving the chair's exceptional comfort while complementing its timeless design. The frame remains in very neat vintage condition with only light age-related signs of use.
