11 Richard Ginori “unredeemed city” plates. Porcelain with gold-trimmed inlay print, Ø 19 cm, each with a cartouche symbolizing the Cross of St. George/Red Cross on a white background, a heraldic symbol common to many Italian cities and regions, and the city coat of arms and the Italian tricolor in fine porcelain. The cities are: Cortina D’Ampezzo, Fiume, Trieste, Pola, Riva di Trento, Ragusa, Capodistria, Gorizia, Rovereto, Parenzo, and Zara. On the back of each plate, a red stamp reading: Decoration by Richard Ginori, piece number in orange, Ginori and initials in green. The wording “DECORATION BY RICHARD GINORI” (visible in the red circle) is a mark that cultural heritage records tend to associate with production from the first half of the 20th century. All in excellent condition. Slight gold losses on the edges.
