I graduated from the Rotterdam Art Academy (Willem de Kooning Academy).
Hand-sculpted and hand-painted figurine: dodo "Phileine".
All the dodos I make are given their own name ;-)
These cheerful dodos carry a beautiful message: They once became extinct due to human intervention.
With my dodos, I want to inspire people to think about the many beautiful endangered species on our planet.
100% handmade! Very nice to give as a gift, for example.
This figurine is an original (not a reproduction!), sculpted and painted according to a unique design.
The figurine is hand-painted with acrylic paint and neatly finished with a gloss varnish.
This artwork is signed (under the dodo's right wing). Size: 13.5 x 10 cm
