Product description
Set of 10 vintage design chairs by Vanerum from the 1960s – 70s, featuring a Pagholz (Pagwood) seat and backrest. These chairs combine an ergonomically shaped wooden shell (made of pressed and laminated wood) with a sturdy chrome-plated sled frame. This style was originally designed for schools and canteens, but is now very popular in mid-century and Scandinavian interiors.
The seats feature a beautiful dark wood tone with visible wood grain, giving each chair a unique look. Thanks to the Pagholz material, the chairs are not only strong and durable but also surprisingly comfortable due to their slightly springy action. The metal base is stable and gives the set a sleek, industrial look.
All chairs are marked (Pagholz and Vanerum), confirming their authenticity. They are in good vintage condition with normal signs of wear appropriate for their age.
