This West Germany floor vase, model 229, is a characteristic example of European ceramics from the mid-twentieth century. The design stands out with its robust silhouette and the graphic decor typical of West German production from that period. The vase is made of ceramic and has a height of 52 centimeters with a diameter of 24 centimeters. The surface shows a mottled, stone-like texture in brown and grey tones, interrupted by a wide, dark band with a repeating pattern of red ovals and white dots. The inside is finished with a dark glaze. On the underside, the vase is marked with 'W. GERMANY' and the model number '229 52'. The object is in good condition, commensurate with its age and previous use. The original finish and characteristic pattern have been well preserved. This floor vase comes into its own in a vintage or eclectic interior.
