Bubble glass mcm pendant lamp by Helena Tynell with a copper collar.
Helena Tynell was a Finnish glass artist (1918-2016) who, in addition to glass art, also designed functional glass. For most of her career, she worked at Riihimäki in Finland, which was the largest glass factory in Scandinavia until the 1960s. Tynell also worked freelance for companies such as Glashütte Limburg in Germany. We are now offering one of the lamps she designed there for sale.
This vintage glass pendant lamp was designed in the 1960s.
The lamp consists of a glass globe with a characteristic bubble motif. The globe is fitted with a metal clamp mechanism into which the E14 socket is attached. The top of the lamp is covered with a copper collar.
The mid-century pendant lamp has a new white cord and a new white ceiling rose.
If not sold, we have three of these beautiful glass pendant lamps in stock.
The listed price is per piece.
